CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is one of the most widely used evidence based treatment modalities. CBT therapists help clients identify beliefs and thoughts that keep them from living their best lives and achieving their goals. These beliefs are then replaced by more useful and supportive beliefs. With CBT client’s can better understand why they do what they do and take active steps to make better decisions in the future. 

DBT (Dialectic Behavioral Therapy) encourages clients to view the world in shades of grey rather than black and white, and improve their interpersonal skills and ability to tolerate negative emotions. Clients are encouraged to become more mindful of their thinking patterns and to become the observer of their inner reality. DBT was developed to help those with Borderline Personality Disorder but can be useful for a variety of mental health concerns.
