Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
I believe therapy is a safe space that we build together to provide trust, hope, and healing. It is a collaborative process that unwinds past hurts or unmet needs and builds on the strengths you already possess. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families who are looking for tools to navigate difficult life experiences. I have a background in Sociology and am passionate about providing equitable, inclusive services to all individuals. I have experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as other historically marginalized populations.
I utilize multiple evidence-based modalities to tailor therapy to meet my clients’ needs. This may look like Play Therapy or Art Therapy to allow children and adolescents to process unresolved grief at a developmentally appropriate level, CBT to provide tools for navigating difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviors, DBT to help clients’ manage difficult emotions and build positive relationships, and Family Systems Therapy to explore how my client’s families and childhoods have influenced their current dysfunction. I am creative and non-judgmental, and will offer support in a way that is safe and trauma-informed.
No matter what brings you or your children to therapy, we will work together to create a greater sense of empowerment, safety, and growth. Ultimately, therapy is a place to learn about yourself and gather tools to utilize for life’s inevitable difficulties. You are not alone.
